The PickUpPad* is optional, you can choose and press each letter individually, but the PickUpPad* ensures uniform embossed marking and better control of location, especially on the sides of your cakes.
Color-coded sets come in a convenient storage tray (shown), allowing you to easily keep track of your letters. All letters are arranged alphabetically and in the direction they need to be embossed, making choosing your lettering quick and easy.
If you need to use the same letter twice, simply measure the space and apply it individually by hand afterwards or using the PickUpPad*. Some of the small and medium sets contain additional frequently used lowercase letters.
To remove the letters from the tray, make a ball of sticky fondant and use it to remove them. Another option is to use a scriber to gently release them, don't force the letters with this method. We recommend lightly embossing your letters, the deeper the relief, the more difficult it is to paint. If you want to emboss deeper, you can fill your letters with Pixie Pearls, non-toxic, edible glitter, royal icing, piping gel, airbrush, and glitter.
When painting, we recommend using the Sweet Stamp Professional Brush Duo, or brushes of similar quality and size. Take your time painting your letters, it's one of the most enjoyable tasks in cake decorating.
